How to: Move a legend in an Excel chart.
Solution:
Select the chart and select the legend to move.
To move a legend:
1) Select the desired chart.
a) If the chart is embedded on the worksheet, double-click on the chart.
b) If the chart is on a separatechart sheet, click the tab for the chart sheet.
2) Select the legend to move. (Handles appear around it.)
3) Press and hold down the mouse button.
4) Drag to move the dotted frame of the legend to the desired location.
5) Release the mouse button.
